Main reasons for female employees leaving their job worldwide 2024

A lack of a sufficient pay or benefits were the most important reason for women to leave their job, with nearly 20 percent giving this as their main reason to leave their former employer. Other frequently cited reasons included bullying and harassment in the workplace, lack of flexible working hours, and lack of alignment with personal values.
