Receipts for soccer player transfers in Africa 2022, by country
In 2022, Mali's receipts from outgoing transfers of professional men's soccer players were the highest on the African continent. That year, the football association received 12.9 million U.S. dollars as a result of player transfers. Egypt and Morocco followed, with 11.2 million U.S. dollars and 9.4 million U.S. dollars, respectively.
