According to a survey of mobile smartphone users conducted in December 2022 in the United States, 61 percent of Android respondents reported using social media apps, while around 47 percent of iPhone users reported doing the same. Around 54 percent of iPhone respondents reported engaging with weather apps, while 46 percent engaged with news apps on their iOS devices in the examined period.
