According to a survey of mobile smartphone users conducted in December 2022 in the United States, 62 percent of female respondents reported using social media apps, while around 52 percent of male respondents reported doing the same. Around 40 percent of male respondents reported engaging with gaming and video apps, while 55 percent of women played games on their phones.
