The tech giant is the publisher of several popular apps for the Chinese market, such as WeChat and QQ, as well as some of the highest-grossing mobile games on the global market, such as PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings. ByteDance ranked second, as the Chinese-based TikTok and Douyin skyrocketed to the top of the rankings for the most used social video apps worldwide. Google came in third, while gaming publisher Activision Blizzard followed.
