The most popular information technology trend either implemented or planned to be implemented in North American and European organizations was IT automation technology with 45 percent of respondents stating that it was currently in use, while 28 percent of respondents stated they plan to adopt it within 2 years. 5G technology adoption came in at second place with 42 percent of respondents reporting that it was currently in use, and 25 percent reporting that they plan to adopt it within the next 2 years.
