In a survey conducted about festive season shopping expectations among Australian consumers in September 2023, just over 20 percent of those surveyed said they had already started their holiday shopping. Around 17 percent of respondents indicated that they planned to finish their holiday shopping by the end of October. Just under five percent of those surveyed said they didn't plan to buy any gifts during the 2023 holiday period.
