According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2023, around 27 percent of respondents buy organic food products at least sometimes. Broken down by gender, the share was almost equal, as 27 percent of female and 26 percent of male respondents frequently bought certified products. Among respondents who never bought organic foods, men were leading with a 24 percent share compared to 18 percent of women.
