According to the systemic risk survey conducted in May 2023 by Reserve Bank of India, 40.4 percent of the respondents stated that they expected asset quality in the Indian banking sector would improve marginally over the next six months. 34 percent of the respondents expected it to remain unchanged over the next six months.
