Reasons for not installing a mobile antivirus in Kazakhstan 2022
According to a survey from August 2022, approximately four in ten respondents in Kazakhstan did not have an antivirus application on their smartphone, because they believed the operating system of their phone provided enough protection. Approximately a fifth complained that an antivirus would take up their smartphone's memory. Close to 300 individuals in Kazakhstan became victims of stalkerware in 2022.
