When asked about their attitudes to Bill C-18, the majority of Canadians believed that Meta should entirely lift its ban on Canadian news on its platforms. Younger consumers aged between 18 and 34 years old were more than doubly as likely as those aged 55 years or over to say they felt Meta should be allowed to protest Bill C-18.
