According to a study conducted in 2023, most respondents in almost all age groups in Nigeria considered that they used ACTs (Artemisinin-based combination therapies) to treat malaria. Arthemeter was the second most popular, with 30 percent of respondents between 36 and 60 years old reporting using it for treating malaria.
