Nearly half of the surveyed companies reported security and compliance risks as a major challenge when moving a project into the Cloud. Cost overruns, resistance to change, and inadequate planning and execution were also in the top of the list, having been reported by 43, 37 and 33 percent of the companies, respectively. An unsuitable workload is seen at the bottom of the list, with only nine percent of the companies having reported it as a challenge in the modernization process.
