Over 60 percent of the surveyed IT decision-makers in the United States reported that security and compliance alongside cost management are major challenges in cloud operations. The multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure was also pointed out as a main challenge in the field by over half of the individuals. Only two percent of the respondents denied having any challenge with cloud operations.
Top global challenges faced by companies in the United States for running cloud operations in 2023
All participants had decision-making (budget and/or technology selection) responsibility for public cloud infrastructure investments in an IT operations or applications role in companies with more than 500 employees that had signifcantly invested in public cloud infrastructure.
