Brazil performed approximately 2.2 million surgical cosmetic procedures in 2023, up from two million interventions registered a year earlier. The number of surgical cosmetic procedures performed in the South American country has been consistently increasing after a decline observed during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Brazil recorded the second-largest number of cosmetic procedures in the world.
