In a 2023 survey, the majority of consumers in France, Britain, Germany, and Italy said that they keep their clothes for more than two years. This was especially true in Britain, where almost three quarters of respondents said they kept their clothes for this long. Italy had the highest share of respondents who kept their clothes for one to two years.
