South America is the largest coffee producer in the world, with around 89.3 million 60-kilogram bags produced in marketing year 2023/24, an increase of almost ten percent compared to the previous year. Combined with Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, coffee production reached 108 million 60-kilogram bags that year.
