Japan: prevalence of sexual harassment in entertainment by occupation 2022

In a survey conducted between October and December 2022, one in five performers and stuntmen in Japan reported having experienced some form of sexual harassment in the past. The share of voice actors and actresses, and announcers who had experienced sexual harassment at work was even higher, at 25.7 percent.

"I was pressured into a sexual relationship."
