Japan: average annual spending of idol otaku 2023

According to a survey conducted in Japan in July 2023, idol otaku on average spent around 81.09 thousand Japanese yen per year on their hobby. Based on the same survey, the number of otaku in the idol segment was estimated at 4.29 million people during that year.
