As of a survey conducted in Europe in 2023, almost 40 percent of the population aged 55 years and over felt calm and peaceful in their day-to-day. While only a fifth of 15 to 24 year olds felt calm and peaceful. The age group reporting the highest share of feeling tired and worn out was 40 to 54 years of age.
