5G video experience in Finland in 2024, by network provider
Opensignal quantifies the quality of mobile video experience on 5G networks using real-world video streams. Their metric, based on an International Telecommunication Union (ITU) approach, measures technical parameters like picture quality, video loading time, and stall rate. These are then related to perceived video experience reported by users. To calculate the 5G Video Experience, Opensignal directly measures video streams from user devices, using the ITU approach to quantify user experience on each operator’s 5G network on a scale of 0 to 100. The tested videos include a variety of resolutions and are streamed from the world’s largest video content providers.
