A 2023 survey found that nine in ten adults in the United States supported having addiction treatment centers in their community to reduce cases of drug overdose. Furthermore, eight in ten adults also supported making Narcan, a medicine that can reverse an opioid overdose, freely available in places like bars, health clinics, and fire stations.
