As of 2023, the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed in Brazil was injections of botulinum toxin, also known as Botox, accounting for nearly half of all interventions. The use of hyaluronic acid ranked second, with almost 36 percent of all procedures. Both of these cosmetic treatments temporarily reduce or eliminate facial fine lines and wrinkles. Calcium hydroxyapatite, cellulite treatment, and full field ablative treatments were performed to a lesser extent. As of that year, the most common surgical cosmetic procedure in Brazil was liposuction.
