Japan: prevalence of harassment in entertainment by type 2022

Hurtful verbal comments were the most common form of harassment experienced in the entertainment industry in Japan, according to a survey conducted between October and December 2022. Over 40 percent of respondents stated they had been told something hurtful by someone at work. Close to seven percent had been pressured into a sexual relationship.
