Based on a survey conducted in April 2023, 48 percent of respondents in Nigeria reported that they or a member of their households had visited a hospital in the preceding three months, compared to 47 percent in April 2021. Moreover, in April 2023, 52 percent of the surveyed individuals considered that they had not visited a hospital in the country, as against 53 percent in April 2021.
