Opinions whether removal of fuel subsidy Nigeria was worth the impact 2023, by age

Based on a survey conducted in 2023, 54 percent of respondents in Nigeria between 18 and 35 years old reported that they did not think that the fuel subsidy removal decision taken by the Nigerian federal government was worth the impact, while 45 percent of respondents in this age group reported that they believed that this decision was worth it. On the other hand, 48 percent of respondents 61 years old and above thought the decision was not worth the impact, while 50 percent of respondents in this age group thought it was worth it.
