During a global survey among marketers published in the second half of 2024, around 49 percent reported usually or always purchasing digital out-of-home (DOOH) campaigns programmatically only. The same share of respondents said they bought it directly only, while 42 percent stated mixing both methods. According to the same study, over one-third of global marketers intended to include programmatic digital out-of-home (prDOOH) advertising in their media plans within the 18 months following the survey.
