In Portugal, in 2021, non-residential buildings were responsible for the highest value of construction work by housing corporations, namely 4.6 billion euros. Health, social action, recreational, educational, and buildings for cultural purposes agglomerated more than 713 million euros.
The value of construction work with residential buildings totaled more than 3.45 billion euros, being that buildings with two or more dwellings were the type of construction accountable for the highest construction value, over two billion euros.
