Nigeria was the country in the Middle East and Africa with the highest investment in infrastructure in 2020. The West African country was followed by Turkey with an infrastructure spending of 17.6 billion U.S. dollars and Saudi Arabia with 19.8 billion U.S. dollars. In 2022, the country with the highest value of construction contract awards in the Middle East and North Africa was Saudi Arabia.
