Mobile phone usage among Turkish people peaked in 2023 at 97.3 percent. Turkish men recorded a higher rate of mobile phone usage than women each year. The share of men using mobile phones in the last three months amounted to nearly 99 percent in 2023 compared to 96 percent among women.
