In 2022, all of the cigarettes manufactured in Spain were produced in the Canary Islands. The area was responsible for over three billion cigarettes produced that year.
On the other hand, mainland Spain and the islands both took part in the manufacture of cigars and cigarillos - they produced 856 million and 927 million units respectively.
