Across the U.S., New Jersey emerged as the most preferred destination for renters, boasting a remarkable lead delta exceeding 38.5 percent. Following closely, Delaware secured the second spot, registering a substantial lead delta of over 34.8 percent. Conversely, Maine stood out as the state with the strongest outbound migration, marked by a significant negative lead delta of approximately 57.6 percent. Lead delta is a rental industry metric measuring the appeal of geographic areas.
