Wells Fargo was the most searched high street bank in the United States between June 2020 and May 2023, with close to 670 million searches on Google US, according to a Pi Datametrics report. Looking at the period from June 2022 to May 2023, however, Bank of America Google searches surpassed those of Wells Fargo, making it the most searched bank during that timeframe. Wells Fargo and Bank of America had by far the highest number of Google searches in both observed periods.
