Value of donations to national parties in India FY 2023, by leading donors
In financial year 2023, Prudent Electoral Trust, India's largest political funding trust, contributed over 2.5 billion rupees to the two national parties in the country. Of this amount, around 2.56 billion rupees were donated to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while the Aam Aadmi Party received approximately nine million rupees.
