In financial year 2023, national political parties in India received over 2.7 billion Indian rupees in donations from the state of Delhi, while Gujarat came in second with donations exceeding 1.6 billion rupees. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stood out as the largest beneficiary of political donations in the country.
