Indian Ed-Tech Byju's has halved the number of its employees to 24.78 thousand in May 2023 from the peak of over 58 thousand in March 2022. This was a result of a massive cost-cutting exercise the start-up initiated last year to streamline its operations. The funding raised by Byju's has also reduced significantly since 2020.
