During the fiscal year 2022, crops accounted for about 54 percent of India's agricultural output at current prices, while the livestock sector contributed 31 percent. Over the past decade, there has been a notable decrease in the share of crops, accompanied by an increase in the livestock sector. Meanwhile, the forest and logging sector has remained steady at eight percent throughout the last decade.
