Reluctancy reasons of Romanians towards electric vehicles 2022

The main reason for not buying electric vehicles (EV) in Romania in 2022 was the lack of charging stations (23 percent), followed by low driving range and high prices for EVs. Although there is still some reluctancy, the number of newly registered EVs grew by 85 percent compared to 2021, mainly as a result of the "Rabla Plus" program.
