Poland had the highest installed capacity of onshore wind energy among the presented Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in 2022, at approximately eight gigawatts. It was followed by Romania and Croatia. Poland's national energy and climate plan set a target capacity of over 13 gigawatts in 2030.
