A survey conducted in August 2023 revealed that more than 40 percent of Indians gave an outstanding rating to the performance of Narendra Modi as prime minister of India. On the other hand, the performance of Narendra Modi was poor or worse according to 22 percent of respondents.
The current prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, is the 14th prime minister of India and the leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He came to power in May 2014 after serving as the chief minister of Gujarat, which is a western state of India.
