In 2023, around 23 percent of global consumers researched their prescribed medication on the manufacturers' websites before purchasing these items. When comparing regions, shoppers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) researched these sites the most. Nearly three out of ten UAE consumers visited manufacturer websites before purchasing medication prescribed by their doctors or health care providers.
