The volume of imported natural gas from Czechia fluctuated in the observed period. While in 2010, it amounted to over 6.66 billion kilograms, which dropped to 5.93 billion kilograms the following year before rising to 7.48 billion kilograms in 2019. The price fluctuated more than the volume. In 2020, despite importing 6.39 billion kilograms of natural gas, Czechia spent only 24.6 billion Czech koruna on this. However, in 2022, the country imported nearly 6.59 billion kilograms of natural gas for an unprecedented 229 billion koruna, a price driven by the energy crisis. The imported volume amounted to nearly 4.9 billion kilograms, while the price was 87.6 CZK.
