Cryptocurrency acceptance by industry 2024

Predictions are that more than eight out of 10 e-commerce vendors in medical devices offer crypto payments on their website come 2024. This is according to a survey held in early 2022, asking e-commerce professionals on which payment method they are already offering and which ones they hope to either add or not add in the future. Note that this survey was held during the height of the crypto popularity in early 2022. Additionally, the source does not clarify whether merchants would like accept direct payments with Bitcoin or whether this involved a third-party payment aggregator such as BitPay. Consumers in late 2021 hoped to use crypto as a payment method on travel, whereas the industry that focused most on these payments was luxury goods.
