In a survey conducted in February 2023 in Japan, 84 percent of respondents with experiences in finding information about restaurants on social media networks stated that they actually went to a restaurant that they saw in a social media post. The survey showed that the vast majority of social media users were influenced by the platforms they were using with regard to dining out.
