In 2023, the total assets of 225 sitting Member of Parliaments (MPs) in Rajya Sabha was 196 billion Indian rupees. Out of this, Telangana Rashtra Samithi MPs accounted for almost 55 billion Indian rupees worth of assets. The ruling party BJP's MPs accounted for around 34 billion Indian rupees.
