According to a survey about organic farming in Australia conducted in December 2021, 20 percent of farmers stated that they choose organic farming because it is better for the environment. Other common reasons for growing organically included the absence of synthetic chemicals or additives and higher profits, with 14 and 13 percent of respondents choosing these options respectively.
