The number of domestic business trips in Canada rose by 27 percent in 2022 over the previous year, following a sharp decline with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. After reaching nearly 26 million in 2019, the number of domestic trips by Canadian residents dropped to under 12 million in 2020, then grew to over 18 million in 2022.
