According to a consumer survey by Vodus Insights, as of the first quarter of 2023, the majority of respondents in Malaysia preferred to purchase non-durable fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products through offline channels. A total of 77 percent of the respondents said they had bought fresh groceries offline in the last six months. By comparison, nine percent of the consumers bought the same product online.
