In April 2023, global online audiences watched almost 52 million hours of live streamed content on Kick. This represents a four-time increase compared to January 2023, when global Kick viewers watched 12.8 million hours of content on the platform. Video live streaming platform Kick launched on October 18, 2022, and was backed by online personality and live-stream creator Trainwreck as a competitor of the Amazon-owned live platform Twitch.
