In the financial year 2024, the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change of India was allocated around 31 billion Indian rupees, a 24 percent increase over the revised estimates for 2023. Within the budgetary allocations, the allocation towards capital expenditure doubled during the financial year 2024 due to increase in capital expenditure for Botanical Survey of India.
